L'équipe d'Angelina Jolie qualifie cette décision de victoire majeure face aux exigences de Brad Pitt.

Angelina Jolie a remporté lundi une victoire judiciaire dans son conflit avec son ex-compagnon Brad Pitt concernant leur château français, le Château Miraval. La Cour supérieure du comté de Los Angeles a statué que les 22 courriels réclamés par Brad Pitt sont privilégiés car ils traitent de stratégie juridique. Cette décision fait suite à un arrêt de la cour d'appel de décembre 2025, qui avait renvoyé l'affaire pour réexamen après avoir conclu que le juge précédent avait commis une erreur. L'équipe de Brad Pitt ne pourra donc pas consulter ces documents dans le cadre de la procédure.
