Le juge de Delhi Aman Kumar Sharma retrouvé mort à Green Park

Aman Kumar Sharma, un juge âgé de 30 ans, a été retrouvé mort à son domicile de Green Park, dans le sud de Delhi. La police privilégie la piste du suicide. Il avait contacté son père au préalable pour évoquer des tensions conjugales et une détresse psychologique.

Samedi, vers 13h45, la police de Safdarjung Enclave a reçu un appel de Shivam, le beau-frère d'Aman Kumar Sharma, signalant un suicide au domicile de Green Park. À leur arrivée, les policiers ont découvert Aman pendu dans la salle de bain à l'aide du dupatta de son épouse. Transporté d'urgence à l'hôpital, son décès a été prononcé sur place.

Aman occupait le poste de secrétaire de l'Autorité des services juridiques de district aux tribunaux de Karkardooma depuis octobre 2025. La veille au soir, vers 22 heures, il avait appelé son père à Alwar, déclarant "il m'est devenu difficile de vivre..." et décrivant des différends conjugaux, deux mois de stress mental, ainsi que l'emprise exercée par sa femme sur le foyer. Son père était arrivé à Delhi vers minuit.

Selon un proche, Rajesh Sharma, les tensions se seraient intensifiées. L'épouse aurait demandé au père de partir et menacé de faire appel à la police. Un oncle avait été appelé, mais est reparti après avoir reçu un message. Au milieu des cris, Aman pleurait. Un appel via une application a sonné depuis la salle de bain, où il a ensuite été retrouvé pendu.

L'épouse d'Aman est également magistrate, et sa sœur est une fonctionnaire de l'IAS en poste à Jammu. La police de Delhi a ouvert une enquête.
