Un homme retrouvé pendu dans des toilettes pour femmes verrouillées à la station de métro Inderlok

Le corps d'un homme, âgé d'une quarantaine d'années selon les premières estimations, a été découvert pendu à l'intérieur des toilettes pour femmes verrouillées de la station de métro Inderlok, dans le nord-ouest de Delhi. La police a forcé la porte samedi soir après des signalements concernant une odeur nauséabonde. Les autorités ont ouvert une enquête sur ce décès.

Samedi soir, vers 17h33, le commissariat de police du métro NSP a reçu un appel concernant une porte de toilettes pour femmes verrouillée et une forte odeur nauséabonde au complexe sanitaire Sulabh de la station de métro Inderlok, dans le nord-ouest de Delhi. Les agents ont forcé la porte et ont découvert le corps d'un homme, âgé d'environ 40 ans, pendu à l'intérieur.

Le DCP du métro a déclaré que le défunt a été provisoirement identifié comme étant le gardien des toilettes, qui avait été vu pour la dernière fois deux jours auparavant. L'état de décomposition du corps explique l'odeur. L'équipe scientifique a examiné la scène et a recueilli des preuves.

Le corps a été conservé à la morgue de l'hôpital BSA pendant 72 heures dans l'attente d'une autopsie. Les responsables du métro apportent leur aide à l'identification. La police a ouvert une enquête pour déterminer s'il s'agit d'un suicide ou d'un acte criminel, notant que la porte était verrouillée de l'intérieur.

Selon India Today, la police a engagé des procédures en vertu du BNSS pour confirmer l'identité de la victime et les circonstances du décès.
