L'aéroport El Dorado en tête en Amérique du Sud et 37e au niveau mondial

L'aéroport international El Dorado de Bogotá a été désigné meilleur aéroport d'Amérique du Sud dans le classement World’s Best Airports 2026 de Skytrax et occupe la 37e place mondiale.

Cette reconnaissance repose sur des enquêtes menées auprès des voyageurs évaluant l'expérience passager dans sa globalité, notamment les temps d'attente, l'enregistrement, la propreté et le service client. El Dorado a introduit des améliorations telles que 56 bornes d'enregistrement en libre-service, des systèmes automatisés de contrôle des passeports et de gestion des bagages, ainsi que des protocoles destinés aux passagers souffrant de handicaps invisibles. En 2025, l'aéroport a accueilli 45,8 millions de passagers, soit le volume le plus élevé d'Amérique latine. Jairo Fierro, d'Air Consulting Group, a souligné que les aéroports modernes se mesurent à leur capacité à connecter les marchés et à générer de la valeur économique. À l'échelle régionale, il est suivi par l'aéroport Mariscal Sucre et l'aéroport Arturo Merino Benítez. Au niveau mondial, Singapour Changi, Incheon et Tokyo Haneda dominent le classement.
