P. Moorthy, du DMK pour Madurai Est, a bouclé sa dernière phase à Othakadai. Le candidat du DMK pour Madurai Central, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, et le candidat de la NDA, Sundar C, ont tous deux terminé près des rues Masi, selon The Hindu.
