Wahlkampf im Distrikt Madurai beendet

Die 129 Kandidaten, die bei den Parlamentswahlen 2026 in den 10 Wahlkreisen des Distrikts Madurai antreten, haben ihren Wahlkampf am Dienstag pünktlich zur Frist um 18 Uhr abgeschlossen. Kandidaten von DMK, AIADMK, NTK, TVK und anderen Parteien hielten öffentliche Versammlungen und Kundgebungen ab und führten Hausbesuche durch.

Die Kandidaten für die Parlamentswahlen 2026 in 10 Wahlkreisen des Distrikts Madurai haben ihren Wahlkampf am Dienstag bis 18 Uhr abgeschlossen und damit die Frist der Wahlkommission eingehalten. Die 129 Kandidaten, die DMK, AIADMK, NTK, TVK, weitere Parteien sowie unabhängige Gruppen vertreten, führten nach Einreichung ihrer Nominierungen einen intensiven Wahlkampf. Zu den Aktivitäten gehörten öffentliche Versammlungen, Kundgebungen und Hausbesuche. Laut The Hindu schloss P. Moorthy von der DMK für Madurai East seine letzte Phase in Othakadai ab. Der DMK-Kandidat für Madurai Central, Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, und der NDA-Kandidat Sundar C beendeten ihre Kampagnen beide in der Nähe der Masi Streets.
