Des agriculteurs menacent de bloquer les aéroports avant la Coupe du monde 2026

Les membres du Frente Nacional para el Rescate del Campo Mexicano ont menacé de bloquer les aéroports de Mexico, Guadalajara et Monterrey avant l'ouverture de la Coupe du monde 2026.

Le dirigeant Eraclio Rodríguez a averti que l'aéroport international de Mexico sera paralysé le jour de l'ouverture du tournoi, prévue le 11 juin à l'Estadio Ciudad de México. Le groupe prévoit également de se coordonner avec les enseignants et les camionneurs pour organiser des blocages conjoints dans les trois villes hôtes mexicaines.

Les agriculteurs exigent des prix équitables pour le maïs, actuellement fixés à 5 100 pesos la tonne, alors que la valeur réelle se situe entre 8 500 et 9 000 pesos. Ils demandent également à être inclus dans l'élaboration des règlements de la Loi nationale sur les eaux.

Rodríguez a annoncé une marche mercredi prochain, le 20 mai, qui se terminera devant le ministère de l'Intérieur. La présidente Claudia Sheinbaum a souligné que les ressources publiques ne sont pas illimitées pour répondre à toutes les demandes.

Le Mexique accueillera 13 des 104 matchs, dont cinq dans la capitale, quatre à Monterrey et quatre à Guadalajara.
