Fervo Energy prévoit une introduction en bourse majeure sur le Nasdaq

Fervo Energy s'apprête à lancer une introduction en bourse qui pourrait lever 1,8 milliard de dollars. L'entreprise d'énergie géothermique sera cotée sous le symbole FRVO dès l'ouverture du Nasdaq. Ce lancement représente l'une des plus importantes entrées à Wall Street pour les énergies renouvelables depuis des années.

Fervo Energy utilise le forage horizontal et la détection par fibre optique pour accéder à la chaleur géothermique afin de produire de l'électricité. L'entreprise a déjà produit suffisamment d'énergie au Nevada pour alimenter environ 2 600 foyers et construit actuellement une installation beaucoup plus vaste, Cape Station, dans l'Utah, dont la mise en service est prévue plus tard cette année.
