Des soldats allemands de l'OTAN agressés aux Pays-Bas

Des assaillants inconnus ont agressé verbalement et physiquement deux soldats allemands du quartier général opérationnel de l'OTAN à Brunssum. Les agresseurs ont scandé des slogans contre l'OTAN.

Les deux membres de la Bundeswehr étaient en civil lundi soir dans une zone boisée près de la base. Un groupe de huit à dix hommes masqués a d'abord arrêté un garde du corps, a exigé de l'argent, puis a scandé le slogan "We hate Nato".

Le soldat s'est libéré et a alerté la police néerlandaise. À l'arrivée des agents, le même groupe a attaqué un second soldat du personnel et a roué de coups l'homme au sol.

Les agresseurs ont pris la fuite sans qu'aucune arrestation ne soit effectuée. L'OTAN avait précédemment relevé le niveau de sécurité au stade "Bravo" après le début des frappes aériennes contre l'Iran. Le général allemand Ingo Gerhartz a exhorté les soldats à la vigilance lors d'un briefing mardi.
