Tyske NATO-soldater angrebet i Holland

Ukendte gerningsmænd har verbalt og fysisk overfaldet to tyske soldater fra NATOs operative hovedkvarter i Brunssum. Angriberne råbte slagord mod NATO.

De to medlemmer af Bundeswehr var mandag aften iført civilt tøj i et skovområde nær basen. En gruppe på otte til ti maskerede mænd stoppede først en livvagt, krævede penge og råbte derefter slagordet "We hate Nato".

Soldaten slap fri og alarmerede det hollandske politi. Da betjentene ankom, angreb den samme gruppe endnu en stabssoldat og sparkede manden, mens han lå på jorden.

Angriberne flygtede, og der er endnu ikke foretaget anholdelser. NATO havde tidligere hævet sikkerhedsniveauet til "Bravo", efter at luftangrebene mod Iran begyndte. Den tyske general Ingo Gerhartz advarede tirsdag soldaterne om at være på vagt under en briefing.
