Des individus perturbent la circulation sur l'Outer Ring Road et détroussent des automobilistes

Des individus présumés ont paralysé la circulation sur l'Outer Ring Road de Nairobi vendredi soir, dévalisant des automobilistes et lançant des pierres sur les véhicules aux environs du pont de Kiamaiko et du rond-point de Kariobangi.

La circulation sur ce tronçon routier est restée bloquée pendant plus de trois heures. Des témoins ont rapporté que le groupe a barricadé la route et pris pour cible les conducteurs ainsi que les passagers. Une personne est décédée des suites d'une blessure par balle et une autre a été blessée lors des échauffourées. Les manifestants exigeaient la libération d'Abdul Aziz Mulo, alias Zizou, porté disparu depuis plusieurs jours. Un résident inquiet a déclaré : "Le message est clair : mettez fin aux enlèvements. La dernière fois, c'était Chair Gorba, maintenant c'est Zizou." Le Service national de police n'avait pas encore publié de déclaration officielle au moment de la publication.
