Les cinq sociétés sous l'égide de la Greater Bengaluru Authority ont atteint un taux de couverture de 96,4 % lors du programme national de vaccination Pulse Polio ce dimanche.

Un total de 1 106 535 enfants de moins de cinq ans ont reçu des gouttes de vaccin contre la polio. La population cible était de 1 147 872 enfants. Bengaluru Est a enregistré le taux de couverture le plus élevé, avec 99,48 %. Bengaluru Nord a suivi avec un taux de 98,22 %. Le vice-président C.P. Radhakrishnan a administré des gouttes de vaccin à un enfant lors de cette opération.
