Greater Bengaluru Authority records 96.4% Pulse Polio coverage

The five corporations under the Greater Bengaluru Authority achieved 96.4% coverage in the National Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme on Sunday.

A total of 11,06,535 children below the age of five received polio vaccine drops. The target population was 11,47,872.

Bengaluru East recorded the highest coverage at 99.48%. Bengaluru North followed with 98.22% coverage.

Vice-President C.P. Radhakrishnan administered polio drops to a child during the drive.
