Grupo Mutua monte à 100 % au capital de Seguros del Estado

Le conseil d'administration de Grupo Mutua a approuvé l'acquisition des 55 % restants de Seguros del Estado et Seguros de Vida del Estado, prenant ainsi le contrôle total des deux sociétés.

La transaction devrait être finalisée au cours du dernier trimestre 2026, après obtention de l'accord des sociétés d'investissement colombiennes détenant les parts restantes. Mutua assumera la présidence du conseil d'administration une fois l'opération conclue.

Les deux assureurs ont généré plus de 400 millions de dollars de primes en 2025 et représentent 6 % du marché colombien de l'assurance générale. Le groupe espagnol conservera les marques existantes ainsi que l'effectif de 1 400 employés.

Mutua était devenu actionnaire minoritaire en juin 2020 et contrôle déjà 60 % de BCI Seguros au Chili. Cet achat s'inscrit dans son plan stratégique d'expansion hors d'Espagne, axé sur les investissements technologiques et la diversification des produits.
