Le gouvernement approuve le rachat de Telefónica par Telecom sous conditions

Le gouvernement de Javier Milei a approuvé l'acquisition de Telefónica Argentina par Telecom, mais a imposé des conditions réglementaires, notamment le transfert de 6 millions de clients.

La décision a été prise hier par le pouvoir exécutif, selon la journaliste Eugenia Muzio. L'objectif principal est d'empêcher Telecom ou le groupe Clarín d'atteindre 70 pour cent du marché des télécommunications.

Telecom avait initialement proposé de transférer 3 millions de clients, mais le gouvernement a doublé ce chiffre et a également exigé qu'une partie de son infrastructure soit mise à disposition. L'entreprise considère cette exigence comme disproportionnée et équivalente à environ 40 pour cent de son activité actuelle.

L'opération a été annoncée en février 2025. Telecom évalue désormais les conditions et analyse d'éventuelles actions en justice. La résolution finale sera connue dans les prochains jours.
