Gobierno aprueba compra de Telefónica por Telecom con condiciones

El Gobierno de Javier Milei aprobó la adquisición de Telefónica Argentina por parte de Telecom, pero impuso condiciones regulatorias que incluyen la cesión de 6 millones de clientes.

La decisión fue tomada ayer por el Ejecutivo, según explicó la periodista Eugenia Muzio. El objetivo principal es evitar que Telecom o el grupo Clarín alcance el 70 por ciento del mercado de telecomunicaciones.

Telecom había propuesto inicialmente ceder 3 millones de clientes, pero el Gobierno duplicó esa cifra y exigió además la puesta a disposición de parte de su infraestructura. La empresa considera que la exigencia es desproporcionada y representa cerca del 40 por ciento de su negocio actual.

La operación se anunció en febrero de 2025. Telecom evalúa ahora las condiciones y analiza posibles acciones judiciales. La resolución definitiva se conocerá en los próximos días.
