La Comisión Reguladora de Telecomunicaciones informó que en 24 días se sumaron 18 millones de líneas al padrón, alcanzando 48 millones inscritas. Norma Solano, comisionada presidenta de la CRT, señaló que el promedio diario de registros subió de 325 mil a 750 mil líneas. El incremento se debió principalmente a la incorporación de líneas de pospago por parte de operadoras como Telcel, AT&T, Movistar, Bait y Altán Redes.
