Hedemora municipal director Anna Frisk has died

Hedemora Municipality announced on Wednesday that municipal director Anna Frisk has died after a period of illness.

The information was published on the municipality's website in consultation with the family.

David Aura, chairman of the municipal board, shared his thoughts with the family and colleagues. He described Anna Frisk as a wonderful person and an exemplary leader with great knowledge and commitment.

Anna Frisk had served as municipal director in Hedemora since the end of 2025. She had previously held other senior roles, including acting municipal director and administrative manager.

Former Swedish Swimming Federation captain Hans Chrunak has died after a long illness. He was 77.

A man in his mid-40s has been remanded in custody on probable cause for the unsolved double murder at a farm in Brattås outside Härnösand in the summer of 2005.
