Lotta Jansson named acting health and medical care director in Region Dalarna

Lotta Jansson will assume the role of acting health and medical care director in Region Dalarna on 10 August 2026. She replaces Åsa Dedering, who steps down after five years.

Lotta Jansson, currently division chief for medical service, has worked in Region Dalarna since 1987. She will lead operations during the recruitment of a new director.

Her focus will be on operations and work environment issues. "That is the most important thing right now as I see it", says Lotta Jansson.

She describes the role as a challenge but stresses that she is a team player. "It feels a bit tense, but I believe I can keep the group together", she adds.
