Ouverture d'un centre d'agriculture urbaine intégrée dans la sous-ville de Lemi Kura

Un centre d'agriculture urbaine intégrée, construit sur trois hectares dans la sous-ville de Lemi Kura à Addis-Abeba, a ouvert ses portes. La maire Adanech Abiebie a inauguré l'établissement.

Le centre comprend 16 magasins et 18 hangars et fournira des produits agricoles urbains. La maire a souligné sur sa page de réseau social qu'un centre similaire avait été précédemment construit dans la sous-ville d'Akaki Kality.

Elle a déclaré qu'il est essentiel d'inclure les agriculteurs dans le développement urbain. De tels centres aident à prévenir l'inflation des prix et fournissent des produits agricoles à des prix raisonnables, a-t-elle affirmé.

Cette installation fait partie des efforts visant à garantir que les résidents bénéficient de la croissance de la ville.
