Un homme se tire une balle dans la main, le projectile atteint la voiture d'une femme

Un homme de 23 ans a été inculpé après avoir accidentellement tiré avec une arme à feu, se traversant la main et atteignant un véhicule à proximité sur le parking d'un Walmart à Memphis. L'incident s'est produit samedi soir, selon les autorités.

Elijah Jones était assis dans sa Chevrolet Impala blanche de 2017 lorsque l'arme a fait feu alors qu'il tentait de la saisir sous le siège conducteur. La balle a traversé sa main avant de toucher la portière arrière passager d'une Audi A4 de 2013 garée à côté. Une femme à l'intérieur de l'Audi a entendu le coup de feu et a vu Jones s'éloigner au volant avec une blessure apparente à la main. La police a plus tard retrouvé Jones dans un hôpital voisin où il recevait des soins pour sa blessure. Les agents ont récupéré un pistolet Smith & Wesson de 10 mm et une douille usagée dans le véhicule de Jones. Il a été inculpé pour mise en danger imprudente et placé en détention avec une caution fixée à 100 000 $. Jones devait comparaître devant le tribunal mardi.
