Marcus King reprend une chanson de Gregg Allman avec Dan Auerbach

Marcus King et le producteur Dan Auerbach ont enregistré une reprise du morceau « Come and Go Blues » de Gregg Allman. Cette interprétation a été réalisée pour une vidéo exclusive liée au documentaire à venir Gregg Allman: The Music of My Soul.

Le duo a recréé la performance télévisée solo d'Allman de 1981 aux studios Easy Eye Sound à Nashville. Auerbach a produit l'enregistrement et a déclaré que King avait appris la chanson sur le moment, alors qu'il ne l'avait jamais jouée auparavant. « Je l'ai écoutée un million de fois depuis mon adolescence », a confié Auerbach. « Quand Marcus m'a envoyé un SMS au sujet de ce projet, il a dit : "Je pensais faire cette version acoustique que Gregg a jouée à la télé", et j'ai répondu : "Je vois exactement de quoi tu parles. Ce serait tellement amusant." C'est donc ce que nous avons fait. »
