Un homme du Minnesota inculpé d'homicide involontaire après le décès de sa compagne

Un homme de 33 ans originaire du Minnesota a été inculpé d'homicide involontaire au deuxième degré suite au décès de sa compagne lors d'un accident de la route survenu le 2 mai. Allen Michael Alberts est accusé d'avoir retardé l'appel aux secours pour Nichole Shoultz, âgée de 40 ans, alors qu'il faisait l'objet d'une ordonnance de non-contact.

Alberts et Shoultz rentraient d'un bar au petit matin du 2 mai lorsqu'une dispute a éclaté et a dégénéré physiquement. Alberts s'est garé sur le bas-côté et Shoultz a pris le volant avant de perdre le contrôle du pick-up, qui a fini sa course à environ 800 mètres de leur domicile commun dans le comté d'Otter Tail. Éjectée du véhicule, elle a été retrouvée inanimée dans un champ.
