En 33-årig man i Minnesota har åtalats för vållande till annans död av normalgraden efter att hans flickvän avlidit till följd av en bilolycka den 2 maj. Allen Michael Alberts anklagas för att ha dröjt med att tillkalla medicinsk hjälp för 40-åriga Nichole Shoultz, samtidigt som han bröt mot ett kontaktförbud.

Alberts och Shoultz var på väg hem från en bar under de tidiga timmarna den 2 maj när ett gräl övergick i fysiskt våld. Alberts körde åt sidan, och Shoultz tog över ratten innan hon körde av vägen med pickupen cirka 800 meter från deras gemensamma hem i Otter Tail County.
