Rage: MP va fermer ses portes après une demande de Take-Two

Rage: MP, un mod multijoueur populaire pour Grand Theft Auto V géré par des fans, ferme ses portes suite à une requête de Take-Two Interactive. Cette décision fait de FiveM la seule plateforme autorisée pour le jeu de rôle sur GTA V sur PC.

Les administrateurs de Rage: MP ont annoncé la fermeture le 25 mai. Ils ont déclaré que Rockstar Games et Take-Two ont clairement indiqué que FiveM est la seule plateforme autorisée dans le cadre du contrat de licence de plateforme du jeu. L'équipe entamera une fermeture structurée à la demande de Take-Two.

During Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call on May 21, CEO Strauss Zelnick said children who enjoy Roblox will naturally move on to Grand Theft Auto as they mature. He also confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track for its planned November release.

Strauss Zelnick, chief executive of Take-Two Interactive, stated that creating massive hits like Grand Theft Auto has become increasingly difficult. He spoke during a conference appearance on May 27.
