S&P maintient la note de la dette française à A+

L’agence de notation S&P a choisi vendredi soir de conserver la note de la France à A+ avec perspective stable. Cette décision fait suite à la dégradation d’un cran intervenue en octobre dernier.

L’agence américaine rejoint ainsi l’avis de Fitch, qui a également maintenu la note à A+ avec perspective stable il y a quelques semaines. Moody’s conserve pour sa part sa notation Aa3, inchangée depuis avril.

Le ministère de l’Économie a indiqué que Roland Lescure prenait acte de cette décision. Bercy a rappelé que le gouvernement restait mobilisé pour réduire le déficit public et la dette afin de garantir la solidité financière de l’économie.

En 2025, le déficit s’est limité à 5,1 % du PIB, contre 5,4 % attendus. La Commission européenne table désormais sur un maintien autour de 5,1 % pour 2026. Les agences doivent rendre leurs prochains verdicts à l’automne.
