La police de Sonipat capture deux criminels après une fusillade près du village de Gaurad

Des agents de l'unité criminelle 1 de la police de Sonipat ont échangé des coups de feu avec deux individus connus des services de police tard dans la nuit près du village de Gaurad. Une balle a atteint le gilet pare-balles de l'inspecteur Rajeev, qui est sorti indemne. Les suspects, identifiés comme étant Raju, alias Banda, et Sanjay Bahadurgarh, ont été arrêtés en possession d'un pistolet illégal de calibre 32.

L'affrontement a eu lieu lorsque l'équipe de police s'est approchée des hommes dans la zone. Les suspects ont ouvert le feu, incitant les agents à riposter. Un projectile a touché le gilet de protection de l'inspecteur Rajeev, sans toutefois le blesser.

Les deux individus ont été interpellés sur place. La police a saisi un pistolet illégal de calibre 32 lors de l'opération.

Les autorités ont commencé à examiner d'éventuels liens entre les hommes arrêtés et d'autres réseaux criminels dans l'Haryana. L'enquête se poursuit alors que les enquêteurs cherchent à déterminer l'étendue réelle de leurs activités.
