Cette victoire permet à Tabilo d'engranger des points au classement ATP sans avoir à défendre de points acquis précédemment, renforçant ainsi ses chances d'être tête de série à Roland-Garros, où il occupe actuellement le 32e rang.

De son côté, Cristian Garin, issu des qualifications, doit faire ses débuts dans le tableau principal contre Juan Manuel Cerúndolo ce jeudi, pas avant 7h20, heure du Chili. Le match se déroulera sur le court 1 et sera diffusé sur ESPN et Disney+.
