The leaders are set to meet Thursday morning. They are expected to discuss trade, Taiwan security, the U.S.-Israel war with Iran and artificial intelligence, among other issues. Before departing, Trump told reporters that trade would be the top priority.
Senior U.S. officials said China’s potential military and financial support for Iran, along with pressure for a peace deal, would figure prominently. Taiwan and North Korea could also arise during the talks.
