Woman hit by tram in Gothenburg

A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a tram in Gothenburg.

The alarm about the accident came at 18:30 on Thursday.

The woman was taken by ambulance to hospital. She has life-threatening injuries, according to Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

The tram has been taken out of service and will undergo a technical examination, police wrote on their website.
