A passenger car collided with a trailer towed by an excavator on Malmövägen in Tollarp on Friday afternoon. Two adults and four children were injured, one woman critically.
The crash occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Friday. Police, rescue services and six ambulances were called to the scene.
A woman in her mid-30s sustained life-threatening injuries and a man of the same age was seriously injured. Three boys aged two to ten and a girl aged ten to fourteen also suffered serious injuries. The excavator driver was physically unharmed.
Police have opened an investigation into traffic negligence. The car will be seized for technical examination. The road was reopened to traffic shortly before 7 p.m.
