Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebe has handed over a five-story building with 44 homes and shops to beneficiaries in the Gabs Tera area.
Mayor Adanech Abiebe transferred the building located in Addis Ketema sub-city at Gabs Tera on May 20, 2026.
The area was previously prone to fires and unsuitable for living. The mayor noted that five buildings with a total of 377 homes have now been completed for residents.
She thanked city officials and private investors for their support in the construction project.
