Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal inaugurated a new building housing a geriatric ward at Hindu Mission Health Services in Nanganallur on Wednesday.

Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal, the 70th head of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, inaugurated the Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal building at the hospital. The building will house a geriatric ward equipped with modern amenities, according to a press release. Hindu Mission Health Services has provided affordable treatment in cardiology, nephrology, paediatrics and obstetrics for the past four decades.
