Designer Daisuke Obana presented the N.Hoolywood Test Product Exchange Service Fall 2026 menswear collection with a focus on military details adapted for civilian wear.
The collection draws from authentic U.S. Air Force garments of the 1940s through 1960s. Obana explained the goal is to revisit classic military pieces that people can wear daily and reinterpret them through modifications.
Key elements include harness systems for parachutes and pocket placements designed for cockpit access. The designer noted that the line decides which details to keep or remove rather than creating exact replicas.
Casting reflected body diversity found in the forces. Materials featured light cotton herringbone and 11-ounce denim woven with slub and nep yarns. Elastic mid-thigh bands on pants drew from 1950s M-51 field pants to reduce pocket movement and improve mobility.
Designs were photographed in settings such as brush landscapes, coastlines, airports, and military bases.
