Planning Minister inspects Information Infrastructure Centre for digital push

Ahmed Rostom, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, visited the Information Infrastructure Centre for the Egyptian Planning System to review operations and assess digital project progress.

During the tour the minister stressed the need to continue improving digital services in line with the state's push for comprehensive digital transformation. He noted that an integrated spatial information infrastructure supplies accurate data to support planning, evidence-based decisions and project monitoring.

Rostom reviewed the operational mechanisms of digital systems and applications run by the centre. He also held direct talks with engineers and staff, commending their work on digital transformation projects.

The centre currently oversees major national projects. These include spatial information integration for Egypt's planning system, the digital health file initiative, financial information systems at the National Investment Bank and judicial governance efforts with the Administrative Prosecution Authority.
