Taylor Swift song reaches country radio milestone

Taylor Swift's song for Toy Story 5 achieved a notable radio milestone on June 10. The track was added at all reporting stations, a rare occurrence.

On June 10, Taylor Swift's “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 was added to all 157 stations reporting to Mediabase’s country chart. This has happened only three times previously and never for a female artist.

Swift had publicly stated she was no longer a country artist before releasing 1989 in 2015. The song marks a return to the format.

The track is also being discussed in relation to potential Oscar consideration for the 2027 Academy Awards. Swift has contributed film songs for 17 years without a nomination.
