Tony Romo arrested for OWI in Milwaukee

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested Thursday night in Milwaukee for operating a vehicle while under the influence.

TMZ confirmed the arrest after the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office pulled Romo over on a high-rise bridge while southbound on I-43. He reportedly failed several field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.

Romo, who played for the Cowboys from 2003 to 2016 and now works as a CBS NFL broadcaster, smiled slightly in his mug shot. This marks his first arrest. He is married with three kids.

He is scheduled to appear in court on September 21. The story is still developing.
