Washington man sentenced to three weekends in jail for driving over ex

A former corrections officer in Washington state received a light sentence after pleading guilty to vehicular assault for driving over his ex-girlfriend's head with his truck during a January 2025 incident.

Cameron Boucher, 23, of Washington state, pleaded guilty on May 15 to charges including vehicular assault while under the influence. He admitted to driving recklessly with disregard for others' safety in connection with the New Year's Eve events in Pierce County. A judge in Pierce County Superior Court sentenced him to 10 days in jail, which he will serve over three weekends.
