Isack Hadjar apologised to Charles Leclerc after a defensive manoeuvre during the Canadian Grand Prix left the Ferrari driver with a scare. Hadjar received a 10-second penalty for the incident but still finished fifth.
The Red Bull driver described the move as too harsh and said he had not intended to force Leclerc off the track. He added that he quickly apologised because the action was unnecessary and that Leclerc is a clean driver.
