IT forensics experts at NFC in Linköping unlock digital evidence

At the National Forensic Centre in Linköping, IT forensics experts analyse electronic devices used by criminals.

Admir Dervisic, head of the data and electronics analysis section at NFC, says the work covers everything from electric scooters to drones.

He notes that the systems are updated regularly and are very secure. In 2020, French police cracked the encrypted tool EncroChat, leading to arrests and convictions in Sweden.

Dervisic emphasises that criminals are closing security gaps faster and faster.
