Jacoby Windmon gets third chance with Pittsburgh Steelers

Linebacker Jacoby Windmon is returning to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a third opportunity after spending time with the Carolina Panthers and in the UFL.

Windmon initially signed with the Steelers in 2024 as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. He spent time on the practice squad before the Panthers signed him to their 53-man roster.

In eight games with Carolina, he recorded 22 tackles, a tackle for loss, 1.5 sacks and two passes defensed. The Steelers later brought him back last October for a brief period.

After being waived by the Panthers in May, Windmon played in the UFL this spring. He is now set to report to Latrobe for another chance with Pittsburgh.

"I’m really excited, man. It’s another opportunity to go out there and play ball," Windmon said via WILX News 10. "I thank the coaches for giving me the opportunity."
