A report on a culture of silence and unauthorized influence has broken the political cooperation in Laxå. The municipal board was summoned to an extraordinary meeting on June 22 to address a whistleblower case.
The report mainly identifies one politician as responsible for personal attacks and other issues. It now proposes a clearer division of responsibilities between politics and administration.
The June 22 meeting included a point where HR chief Camilla Mellström would orally inform about the whistleblower case. This took place around midsummer in Laxå municipality.
The crisis has led to demands for improved routines to avoid similar situations in the future.
