Quarter Up addresses rage quitting in Invincible Vs open beta

Developers at Quarter Up have released a blog post explaining high rage quitting rates during the recent open beta of their fighting game Invincible Vs. They attributed most issues to their own systems, including delayed rank updates and poor matchmaking. Fixes are incoming ahead of the full launch on April 30.

Quarter Up developers detailed the problems in a post recapping the ranked-mode beta. They noted a rank point bottleneck where points did not update immediately after matches, potentially giving players the false impression that leaving mid-game carried no penalty. A ranked data bottleneck also led to skill-mismatched pairings, fostering frustration and quits, while the beta lacked disconnect penalties and casual modes. The team described most of these issues as 'on us.'
