RSS leader backs people-to-people ties with Pakistan

RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale has expressed support for maintaining people-to-people ties with Pakistan, despite a trust deficit between the nations.

Dattatreya Hosabale, a senior figure in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, called for sustained engagement at the civil society level.

He said India must prioritise national security and self-respect while dealing firmly with terrorism.

Hosabale stressed that channels of dialogue should not be completely shut.
