Universidad Católica warns fans over stickers in Claro Arena bathrooms

After the match against Universidad de Concepción, Universidad Católica issued a social media statement warning fans against placing stickers in Claro Arena bathrooms. The club stressed treating the stadium as 'our home'. This fits into a zero-tolerance policy in place since 2025.

Universidad Católica, boasting an 85% home performance at Claro Arena with nine wins, one loss, and one draw, made another call to its fans after the match against Universidad de Concepción. In a social media statement, the club highlighted stickers found in the bathrooms and urged avoiding such behavior to keep the venue clean. “The Claro Arena is our home, the home of all #LosCruzados and that is a source of pride because everyone recognizes it as a different space where football is lived and enjoyed like nowhere else,” the statement reads. It continues: “In every match the call is to care for our new stadium and that also means avoiding this type of behavior. Do not stick stickers on bathrooms, seats, railings, or mirrors. Take care of the Claro Arena, take care of it as it is: Your home!”. Since 2025, the club has enforced a strict disciplinary policy featuring over 200 high-resolution cameras with artificial intelligence, electronic turnstiles, and upcoming facial recognition. Previous cases include sanctions on five individuals after last season's Clásico Universitario—two banned for six years for throwing objects and attempting to assault players, and three for four years for misusing credentials—and a two-year ban on a fan for entering without a ticket at the “Adiós Capitanes” event.
