LRT-2 and MRT-3 Extend Free Rides to Rizal Day in 2025 Holiday Adjustments

Following earlier holiday schedule changes and free rides for Christmas and New Year, LRT-2 and MRT-3 will offer free peak-hour rides on December 30, Rizal Day, as announced by transport authorities on December 27.

Building on the Department of Transportation's holiday initiatives for Metro Manila trains, which included extended hours and group-specific free rides from December 14 to 25, LRT Line 2 and MRT-3 will provide complimentary access during peak hours on Rizal Day, December 30.

Free rides will be available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., easing commuter travel on this special non-working holiday. This continues the effort to manage increased demand and promote accessibility during the festive season.
