Religious groups to hold anti-corruption rally on June 28

Religious and civil society leaders will stage a faith-based rally against corruption on June 28 at the EDSA People Power Monument in Quezon City.

The rally, dubbed the White Ribbon Movement, is organized by the Inter-Religious Leaders Council for National Transformation. It continues the Trillion Peso March series triggered by the flood control corruption scandal.

Kidapawan Bishop Colin Bagaforo said at a June 19 press conference that the event is faith-based and faith-generated. "We will have a big rally this June 28, 2026 and we will do this at the People Power Monument," Bagaforo said.

The group calls for implementation of an anti-political dynasty law and electoral reforms. Organizers include Artikulo Onse, Tama Na, and religious bodies such as the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches.
