South Korea defeated Trinidad and Tobago 5-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly. Captain Son Heung-min and Cho Gue-sung each scored twice.

South Korea defeated Trinidad and Tobago 5-0 in a pre-World Cup friendly on May 30 at BYU South Field in Provo, Utah. Ranked 25th, South Korea took control after a slow start with captain Son Heung-min scoring twice in the first half.
