Trafikverket pushes back firmly. "It is good that we are scrutinized, but their conclusions do not match," says Ulrika Geeraedts, head of the Planning division at the agency. She argues the report relies on misunderstandings and outdated practices.
The agency is headquartered in Borlänge in Dalarna, making the criticism particularly relevant locally. The Chamber's report highlights challenges in Sweden's infrastructure building, though Trafikverket maintains its current methods are more effective.
