Stockholms Handelskammare har publicerat en rapport som kritiserar Trafikverkets hantering av infrastrukturprojekt. Enligt rapporten har kostnaderna skenat i höjden, byråkratin blivit trögare och effektiviteten minskat.

Trafikverket svarar bestämt. "Det är bra att vi granskas, men deras slutsatser stämmer inte", säger Ulrika Geeraedts, chef för verksamhetsområde Planering på myndigheten. Hon menar att rapporten bygger på missförstånd och gamla arbetssätt.

Myndigheten har sitt huvudkontor i Borlänge i Dalarna, vilket gör kritiken särskilt relevant lokalt. Handelskammarens rapport belyser utmaningar i Sveriges infrastrukturbyggande, men Trafikverket hävdar att deras nuvarande metoder är mer effektiva.
